Love In Tune by Caitie Quinn

What They Say:

Melissa Foehner is a rock star babysitter—er, Tour Logistics Manager—with the patience of a saint. That is until her star and his slacker buddy go missing. Now nothing will stop her from getting the show back on the road…Not even a broad set of shoulders and a smart mouth.

This is an 8k short story included in the LOL Anthology. Love in Tune is a standalone story that takes place at The Brew Ha Ha.

What I Say:

I would like to thank Angie Hulsman and the author for sending me a copy of this in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Mel is a tour logitsics manager or babysitter to rock star Dylan. He is a pain in the ass that keeps going missing with the help of his best friend Kyle.  We meet Mel at the end of a concert being chewed out by Dylan's manager Lennie as Dylan or his Majesty as Mel likes to refer to him had gone missing yet again.

Mel sets out to find Dylan and Kyle, little does she know she will find much more.

I loved this great story and was really sorry when it ended, I want to go tour with the band lol.

The author creates easily likeable characters in Mel and Kyle, it turns out that Dylan really is a knob but aren't most Rockstars.

A nice quick read, I'm only wish it was longer and will look for more books from Caithie.

4 out of 5 Stars

About The Author
Caitie writes stuff. Stuff that’s funny — hopefully.

If it’s not funny, you can totally blame the weather, or her lack of chocolate, or the formatting, or her cat. Wait, she doesn’t have a cat. Scratch that last one.

You can check her out on twitter @CaitieQuinn or email her at Caitie.Quinn (AT) aol.com

You can check out her YA stuff as Bria Quinlan.

I've gotten tweets asking me why I have so few books rated and why they're all five stars. I think, especially for newer writers, it's always good for people to see where our tastes lean. Hopefully one day I can live up to the books I've 5-starred!
