Cavanaugh is working in Kyter’s bar in London when he woman who
stole his heart walks in, he is determined to not go back to his village until
he is ready to. Eloise is just as
determined to get him back their before the five years he has been away is up.
Both Cavanaugh and Eloise are strong character, Cavanaugh not only
because he should be an alpha, a position he never wanted and made him take the
heart breaking decision to leave his tribe in the hands of someone he thought
would look after them better than he could.
Eloise is a lot stronger than her lowly position in the tribe would
suggest and she had taken two years to find Cavanaugh.
Felicity describes the journey back to the village from both
Cavanaugh’s and Eloise pov. The internal
struggles that they are both going through and the feelings they both have, they
are both trying to supress.
As with all Felicity’s books the scenes are brilliantly described
especially they fight scenes and the tension between the two main characters is
evident on every page. Again there are
sex scenes personally I only think they enhance the stories. These are easy reads with a supernatural feel
that can be read in a couple of hours.
