He was created to be her back up and now he's out to take her place
After the Oraculum orders Eve’s execution, she has to flee her home in the fort as those that have been guarding over her are forced to turn against her. Amongst the chaos, a new Sentinel is named. Adam, Eve’s half-brother.
Adam has spent his life incarcerated by the Oraculum while Eve was allowed to grow up with a family and friends. Now he is hell bent on revenge. He rules over his Guardians and his new kingdom with arrogance and a cold heart, but his one ambition is to make Eve’s life a living hell. Nowhere is safe from him, not even her dreams.
With the threat from the Putarians moving closer, her own Guardians betraying her, the survival of the world hinges in the balance.
Above all else, Adam must be stopped. But when Eve has a prophecy of her and Adam saving the world together, she quickly realizes she needs to work with him not against him.
I would like to thank author Holly Martin for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
What can I saw about the third book in this series except wow, this books is a fantastic addition to this series. I had been waiting to read this book but when it landed in my kindle I didn't want to read it as I knew I would feel lost once I finished it, which is exactly how I feel.
Eve is no longer the sentinel she has been replaced by her sick and twisted brother Adam, by the Oraculum. Adam isn't just content with replacing Eve he wants to make her suffer too.
In this fast paced third book in the series Eve tries to escape Adam but he can find her where ever she goes.
Back are Eve's guardians in the gorgeous Eli and Lucas. I was sad that we didn't get to see more of them, also Holly broke my heart for Eli. Also with Quinn I was crying nooooooo, how could you Holly? (Sorry I won't tell you why, you will need to read this series to find that out). As much as I like Seth and I know other readers love him, Eli and Quinn still remain my favourite characters.
If you love YA/fantasy then this book really is one for you and as much as I love Holly's romance books, I love this fantasy series more.
I continue to adore all the characters and look forward to the fourth book in the series next year, hopefully, we won't have as long to wait.
Praise for The Sentinel (Book 1 in The Sentinel Series)
It’s a book you HAVE to read, because it’s incredible. An outstanding book that has left me bereft its finished. I wished I’d savoured it for longer. This book was one of those that once you started it was impossible to come away from. It was fast paced, exciting, full of suspense and action that had me gasping in shock at twists I never imagined could happen. It’s a story of courage and adventure. And no matter how dark it gets, there’s always love and hope. – Victoria Loves Books Blog
It's really hard to find the words to describe how amazing this book is.
This is definitely the best debut I've read this year! I just love this book, I want you all to read this book, in fact you all need to read this book! - Love of a Good Book Blog

The Prophecies
Holly lives in sunny Bedfordshire in a house with round windows. She studied media at university which led to a very glitzy career as a hotel receptionist followed by a even more glamorous two years working in a bank. The moment that one of her colleagues received the much coveted carriage clock for fifteen years' service was the moment when she knew she had to escape. She quit her job and returned to university to train to be a teacher. Three years later, she emerged wide eyed and terrified that she now had responsibility for the development of thirty young minds. She taught for four years and then escaped the classroom to teach history workshops, dressing up as a Viking one day and an Egyptian High Priestess the next. But the long journeys around the UK and many hours sat on the M25 gave her a lot of time to plan out her stories and she now writes full time, doing what she loves.
Holly has been writing for 6 years. She was shortlisted for the New Talent Award at the Festival of Romance. Her short story won the Sunlounger competition and was published in the Sunlounger anthology. She won the Carina Valentine's competition at the Festival of Romance 2013 with her novel The Guestbook. Oh man. If that's not a killer review, I don't know what is. I missed this blog and your energy so much last month! I'm going to have to skim through the old posts and see if there is anything else I need to add to my must-read list. Now that NaNoWriMo is over, I'm trying to catch up on all my reading and figure out what my favorite book bloggers recommended while I had my head buried in my own book!
