For my blogaversary I asked the question, Who is your Book Boyfriend/Hot Men in Books? I've had loads of great responses, today Gill Edwards talks about her Hot Man in a Book.
My hot man in a book has to be Mr Rochester from Jane Eyre.
It's not about how handsome he may be or young or sexy. For me it's his passion for his home, for the countryside and eventually after falling in love with her, for Jane herself.
He's a very strong character and is full of remorse about the tragedy of his past and the secret he is forced to keep. The word brooding was invented to describe Mr Rochester.
